Everybody fears change. All those “what ifs” haunt us, not allowing us to move on. One day, I realized that I had not been happy for a long time, just because I feared change. So I took the leap, I left my job, my boyfriend of 13 years and the life I was so unhappy with. I found myself sleeping in my mom’s sofa, no job in view and no certainties in my life. And all those feelings of regret and guilt invaded me. That’s when I started seeing Fernando.

With his help, I realized of my own potential and all the possibilities that lied ahead. I realized that I was possibly living the most exciting times in my adult life and I was ready to tackle anything. Less than a year later, I have a great job, and I’m ready to move with a loving man to another state, where we’ll both begin our MBA studies. Life is about change and I’m loving it.
